What You'll Need
Getting set up is easy. Here's what to have ready:

How does the pricing actually work?
Your "setup fee" is simply purchasing raffle tickets through SMAC's official fundraiser at donate.smac.edu. When you sign up, we tell you exactly how many tickets to buy and which student to purchase them under. You buy directly on SMAC's site — we never handle the money. 100% goes to St. Mary's Academy as real raffle entries for the $25,000 grand prize.
Why am I buying tickets under a specific student's name?
SMAC Families is built and maintained by the Thomas family — parents of six students at St. Mary's Academy. When you purchase your tickets under one of our students' names, it counts toward their fundraising goal. It's a win for everyone:
- You get a professional fundraiser page, QR code, and marketing toolkit
- SMAC gets 100% of the ticket revenue — every dollar goes to the school
- Our family gets credit for bringing in the ticket sales
You're buying the same raffle tickets you'd buy anyway. We just make it easy and point you to the right spot.
Where does the money go?
100% to SMAC. When someone clicks a donation button on your page, they go directly to donate.smac.edu to checkout. We never touch the money. Your initial ticket purchase and every donation your supporters make goes straight to the school.
Can I gift a page to another family?
Yes! Check the "This is a gift" box on the signup form. Enter the recipient family's name and optionally their email. You buy the tickets, they get a free fundraiser page. It's a great way to help a family who might not be able to afford the setup.
What about privacy? My kids' photos are on the internet?
You can enable a family PIN so only people you share the PIN with can see your page. The page is also not indexed by search engines.
Can I use this next year too?
Yes! Renew your page each year for just $10 — that's 1 ticket through the SMAC fundraiser. We update grades, swap in new photos, and refresh everything. Same URL, same QR code — your supporters already have the link.
My parents aren't tech-savvy. Will they be able to use it?
That's literally why we built this. Big buttons, simple layout, works on any phone. If they can click a link in a text message, they can donate.
How do I share it?
You get a share kit with pre-written text messages, email templates, and social media posts. Plus a QR code you can print for door-to-door.
What if SMAC changes their website?
We monitor the links and update them if anything changes. You don't have to do anything.
